  1. Hi there, what you can do is to go to your deployment management and find the deployment in question. I don't remember the exact location but either on [right-click > properties] or by expanding it, you will be able to see all the updates that got deployed. then you can choose the update that you want to remove. OPTIONAL: to be safe, you can delete the actual, downloaded update directly within the update package itself (needs to be done AFTER you remove the update from the deployment management) so when the client tries to download it, it will give an error that the item can't be found (or something like that) regarding the client, that's a bit tricky since the ccm agent is the one that initiate the update scan so there's not much you can do about it. but as long as you don't change the default settings of the agent, it is by default do a scan every 2 days. so as long as the client pc is turned on for at least 2 days, it should be able to get the updated list, which has that particular update removed. just curious ... what kind of problem you're having with that rdp-client?
  2. Hi all, I'm still reading this update deployment stuff so forgive me if I misunderstood something. First of all, this is a great post! Second ... question: Let's say I have been managing the updates for several months now. Based on your guide, to deploy the latest updates we need to: - select which update(s) - download it - select it(them) again - deploy it Now, how do we know which update already been downloaded? Can it be just "automatic"? I mean, it would be easier when we choose to deploy an update(s) it will just auto-download if it's not exist in the source package. Ap
  3. wow! That fixed it! I've been struggling with this for 2 weeks now. Thanks heaps! To summarize: got to http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;973065 and apply the hotfix. Note: Even if you have SCCM2007 R2 installed, it still works.
  4. Hi there, I followed your guide from installing sql to configuring sccm 2007 but I'm kind of stuck here on this post. 2 problems: - when I'm configuring the management point, it frozen after I clicked the "OK" button - after I restarted and configure the WebDAV for the all user - read access, it runs ok but then smsexec.exe eat up all the CPU usage What did I do wrong?
