I installed those tools and I ran full hardware inventory. It still not updated resource pool but I presume that could take a few hours to fully complete.

I checked in add-remove programs under hardware in resources explorer on that machine and office pro 2003 is still showing up. I dont understand it because when I log on to users machine office standard is installed and user doesnt have pro installed.

I ran that script on users machine and it doesnt have office pro installed.

Hi eswar sorry I am not very familar with scripting. What steps are involved to run this script to see iff office pro 2003 pro is installed?? thanks for your help

I checked the product details under resource pool and it is saying that Microsoft office access is still installed. I tried running REVO uninstaller but it didnt pick it up.

I have recently removed office pro 2003 from a number of machines on the network. however I spotted one of the machines which no longer has office pro 2003 installed is still showing up when I run report "comptuers with specific software in ADD/REMOVER Programs" it is still reported. I have already changed the schedule for the Hardware Inventory CLient agent to every 5 mins. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi there, I am wondering how do I go about upgrading to SCCM 2007 r3. I am looking to get use of the powermanagement features. When I right click site settings: Version: 4.00.6487.200 R2 Installed: NO Build Number: 6487 The fact I dont have r2 installed can I upgrade to R3. Any help would be most greatful

Hi there I have advertised task sequence to remove office from a collection. This has worked fairly well but there are around 30 machines or so where it comes back saying the uninstall failed. However when I remote onto the machine office pro 2003 is removed from ADD remove programs. These machines are still showing up in software metering as having office pro 2003. How do I sort this out?? Any help would be great.

Hi there, I have identified over 100 machines using SCCM metering report that have not used office pro in over 6 months. I would like to know is there anyway I can upload this excel document into a collection. I want to advertise a task sequence to this collection. If there are step by step guides on how to perform this that would be great.

I changed the lanuage in metering to all instead of the default which was american. It works fine now.

Hi there, I am fairly new to SCCM and I looking for some help on the reporting aspect of this tool. I have been assigned the task of removing unused versions of MS Visio and MS Project. I have ran reports on what versions etc are in add/remove programs on network. I want to identify the last time they were last used via software metering reports but there doesnt appear to be any software metering rule for visio or project. Are there any step by step guides to perform this? I have tried adding software metering rule but it doesnt appear to be reporting back anything. Any help would be great.

Yes I appear to be able to connect to admin$ also I dont have a restricted Groups GPO. I made changes to the following attached and there have been a lot more machines picked up this morning but I still cant get agent to install on a large number of machines. I can see these machines in All systems and can ping them etc but when I try and push out client its still not successful Any ideas?? change.doc

No all XP clients should be SP2. I have attached the ccm.log ccm.zip

The boudaries all look fine and also the client push Installation account has admin rights. I have tried running the client manually from the share and have attached the ccmsetup.log of this machine. Copy of ccmsetup.log
