  1. Hello, I have been having a problem with the installation of ccmsetup.exe on my Windows 2003 64bit servers. I watch task manager and the ccmsetup.exe starts and then immediately quites without installing. I've tried multiple ways of installing. Any advice on this would be very appreciated. I have tried both direct UNC connection to the install files in the client directory on the server, I have copied the files locally to the Win2003 server, I have mapped a drive to the install files...each way has failed.... Also, seeing this on ccmsetup.log in client Can't verify that file 'C:\WINDOWS\ccmsetup\WindowsServer2003.WindowsXP-KB923845-x64-ENU.exe' is digitally signed. ccmsetup 1/17/2010 8:36:14 PM 2180 (0x0884) and Failed to successfully complete HTTP request. (StatusCode at WinHttpQueryHeaders: 500) and The language specific BITS version wasn't found (Failed to download 'WindowsServer2003.WindowsXP-KB923845-x64-ENU.exe' from 'http://server/CCM_Client/x64/BITS25' with error code 0x80004005). Thank you, VRC
  2. OK, I figured out why my programs weren't showing up...(can't have user interaction checked on). Thanks for all your help!!! Still not sure how you would use the base variables and all that functionality, but maybe a future post.... Thanks again Niall. Really appreciate the screen shots....very helpful.
  3. Thanks, Another ? I'm trying this and some of my applications allow me to choose a program, but many don't. Why is that? All the packages do have programs assigned to them. Doubled checked to make sure of it.
  4. I have applications with multiple dependecies. I was pretty sure I wanted to use TS but I don't know how to set it up. That is the issue. I need instructions for setting this up. Everything I've found so far on the web is confusing and I just need some instructions specific to setting up applications to run in a sequence. Thanks
  5. HI, I need to install applications in a certain order for my collection. Would task sequencing be the best option? If so, can someone provide a quick how to, or point me to one? Thanks! VRC
