  1. Just un update, I know its related to the following issue. The new images I added are mandatory so it gets rid of the menu and deploys the lastest image I created in the task sequance. Now the question, how do I asign a task sequance to a collection but not make it mandatory or edit my current task sequances. I cant find a box to tick anyware.
  2. Originally when I had 2 images in the task sequance set to PXE boot, and going to the all unknown collection, when it loaded the PXE boot, id put my password in and then I could select which image to deploy to that machine. Now I have 6 images and theres no option when I PXE boot a new machine, it will automatically start to install the latest/most recent image created in the task sequance. Any ideas on how to have the menu back so that when I pxe BOOT I can view the avaialbe images to deploy the correct one. Thanks
  3. Ok just an update, I had permission to reboot the server, and like most MS products a reboot fixed the issue. 60% of the time it works everytime.
  4. I have just done a complete build/capture and after the desktop booted into win xp, i checked on the sccm server but the wim file was never captured. I went through the processes and sys prep etc but at the end it was never pushed out. I created the sccm client manually and advertised it as a package and used that in my task sequance when it asked for the sccm client. Im guessing that the client has to be done from new package from definintion. Would doing a SCCM repair from the DVD fix this issue or cause any other problems if I run it?
  5. Im logged on as Administrator. Nice guides by the way they have been very helpfull.
  6. Hi guys im trying to create the sccm package. I select software distribution, packagaes, right click new packagae from definition, then under publisher it says no publishers available. Im not sure what to do now. How do I get the client install package to appear in there? Can I create my own client package instead and use create new package instead of new package from definition? Any ideas? Thanks
  7. Im creating a task sequence and have got the the step where it aks for the location of the ConfigMgr package. When I select browse its blank and Im unable to continue. Any advice would be great, thanks.
