    Deploy Windows 7

Hello everybody, I used the sources/install.wim from the DVD of WIndows 7 , to add an Images in "Operating System Images". I created a TS to "install an existing image package" and i chossed this one (install .wim) but i got this common eeror about depencies when deploying "Failed to resolve selected task sequence dependencies" it looks curious, do you think i can deploy with the install.wim ? only from a captured image ? Regards,
  8. I tried to capture x64 system (and then an x64 Boot image)..it doesn't work... ;(

    Deploy Windows 7

well, i found the prob...finally was not my DHCP or DNS..all good here.. i do that : http://www.myitforum.com/forums/tm.aspx?high=&m=177318&mpage=1#177318 If you open the Site Systems properties for your PXE server, you will see a checkbox that is enabled by default. It is the Specifiy a Fully Qualified Domain Name... If the path specified here is not resolvable in your PXE client's F8 command window, then you are dead. so i unchecked in my ConfigMgr Site System "Specifiy a Fully Qualified Domain Name for this site system on the intranet"... and now it works !... but i don't know exactly the consequence to unchecked this box ... why it work now with this box unchecked..maybe i missed someting in the AD or something like that. what do you think ? Regards,

i checked my DNS, is OK, and it work, i can see in the log "[Found network adapter "Broadcom NetXtreme Gigabit Ethernet" with IP Address 192.168.5.132.]LOG]" So Networkcard is Loaded on winPE, and IP delivered by DHCP.... but still this error about "Unknow Host" maybe it's about that i deploy on collection "Unknow Computer" ...maybe something is missed in SCCM2007 ... :/ if you have an idea

    Deploy Windows 7

i'm facing exactly same probleme, after "Starting WInPE" , Computer reboot, deployement doesnt start... I added the good NIC Driver (broadcom).. Anyweb, said to check the SMSTS.log from the clients, but.....my client is..EMPTY ! taht why i want deploy it !! it's an unknow computers, with any OS intalled on it.. so which .log i can check on the server to find any clue about this problem ?
  16. Hi all, It say that SCCM2007 R2, allow to boot on PXE all interface (and incoming interface), so it is possible to boot on PSP without adding Macadress of the mahcine ? if i buy in my enterprise 300 new pc wich i need to deploy, i'll not add 300 macadress+ GUID in my SCCM2007 ?! true ? how can i do to boot unknow PC in my PSP ?
  17. Hi, well, the PSP, is here, indeed. well, i "refreshed" the Roles, i mean, i launched the "new roles" wizard, and adding anything, and now, my PSP is visible to the Advretissement...eheh..weird, but it works..
  18. Hello, i got a question about WDS and PSP. My WDS (2008R2) is not on the same server as my SCCM2007. i added the PXE Service Point role in my SCCM2007, and if i Update Distribution point in a package, i only see one ( standard) distribution point, i don't see the PXE distribution point. I guess it's because my WDS is running on another server.. so, how can i fix that ? Regards,
  19. well, i didn't see immediatly but i still have lil trouble ) when i "run" application advertised, i got that : if i try to acces to the distribution point \\SCCM2007\C£ i can acces to my SMSPKGC$ , and i see my application available (vlc.exe) and i can run it...looks it's not a prob of the acces of the distribution point..
  20. Many thanks Konetie, it put mandatory indeed "as soon as possible" , i removed it and it works now
  21.
