  1. We HP several newer model HP desktops and Latops we'e trying to deploy Win 7 Enterprize to. Issue: We use HP computers (8100, 8200 and EliteBook 8540P) which have multiple partitions, most have a System Reserved partition of 100 MB at Disk 0, Partition 1 which I think is used for BitLocker and another at Disk 0, Partition 2 as the Primary. I know that I need to create some steps in the already created Task Sequence that have different disk configurations and have the wmi conditions control which step get run, I would like the task sequence to just apply the appropriate image automatically every time. I'm thinking of trying this but I don't this it's correct. select * from Win32_DiskPartition where Caption like '%Partition #0%' and Bootable = -1 Error message in log file: The execution of the group (Gather Logs and StateStore on Failure) has failed and the execution has been aborted. An action failed. Operation aborted (Error: 80004004; Source: Windows Failed to run the last action: Error in the task sequence. Execution of task sequence failed. There is not enough space on the disk. (Error: 80070070; Source: Windows smsts1.log
  2. It's the Office 2007 Pro version. I was able to find the info in the Setup.xml file located in the ProPlus.WW folder. But I'm still confused on how to actually use it.
  3. I been reading up on how to use the /modify command to add Outlook 2007 to an existing installed Office 2007 without Outlook but I'm a little confused; When I look at the Outlook.en-us folder of my package my setup.xml files does not display the text as what exist on the net. Here's a copy of what's used as an example: <Setup Id=”Pro” Type=”Product” ProductCode=”{30120000-0011-0000-0000-1000000FF1CE}”> But my setup.xlm file has this: <Setup Id="Outlook.en-us" Type="AddOn" Keyword="OutlookMUI" Culture="en-us"> and the Product is at the bottom of the .xml file. Should I just cut and paste the "ProductCode before the Keywork=" in my .xml file? Also, What do you put in the Config.xml file to make this work? Thanks
  4. I have a Office 2007 package created which will remove the existing Office 2003 and replace with Office 2007, however I have some PCs that already has Office 2007 installed but Outlook not configured properly. Is there a method to update Outlook with the configuration info by using the orignal Office 2007 package? If not then I would like to know how can I use a Per-Install command to remove the existing Office 2007 and then install the new Office 2007.
  5. The DPs are protected, however I can't use the subnet because there are multiple departments within that subnet that's in the DP. The problem is that we don't have a OU by location.
  6. Got a error message after importing the .MOF file and running it: An error occurred when the report was run. The details are as follows: Invalid column name 'Microsoft Office%'. Error Number: -2147217900 Source: Microsoft OLE DB Provider for SQL Server Native Error: 207 Fixed it by removing the "Double Quotes".
  7. This is what I'm looking for. Would it be possible to add the location using the info from the DP? Thank you.
  8. We have both versions of MS Office in our environment and getting ready to deploy Outlook, however we have older machines with 512MB RAM and a few that's below that. The problem is that I need to identify those machines with less than 512MB and Office 2003 and do it by location, there are 22 Distribution Points and would like to use those as the location. I need to create this report that list the following items: 1. Machine name 2. Machine Type - Model 3. Amount of memory 4. Operating system - We have XP, Vista Business x64 and now a few Windows 7 5. Microsoft Office version (2003 and 2007) 6. Service Packs version for Office.
  9. Now that I think I have SCCM setup and working, I'm getting mid 90s percentage compliance of 1500 clients. I've been tasked to investigate about getting Outlook 2007 deployed. We will be removing the Groupwise clients and deploying Outlook. site setup: 1 Central site 22 Distribution points Looking at the How to deploy Office 2007, whould it be possible to follow this process?
  10. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction, I'm now deploying Windows XP patches.
  11.
