  1. Greetings to all, We are currently working on Windows 7 Enterprise Deployment across the board. We have only Dell Laptops and HP Workstations. We would like to have 1 base image for both Hardware. We do have MDT 2010 and SCCM 2007 SP2 here. Do you all have any guides on how to go about doing it? Can I use Task Sequences to install the drivers based on which machine I'm deploying the OS to? (Dell or HP)? Your help will be greatly appreciated.
  2. Hello all, I have never used SQL before, just started using SCCM 2007 with 1 site and multiple Distribution Points. We are a windows XP shop with Office 2007 in the process of upgrading all Laptops & Desktops from Symantec AV to MS Forefront. 1) I would like to run a report that shows me all the machines running forefront and which machines are still running Symantec AV. 2) I would like to run a report that shows me all Computer Names, Specs (Hard Drives, Memory),Serial numbers and logon user. If possible, steps by steps instructions on how to use the Query etc... will be verhy helpful. Thank for your help,
  3. For some reasons, the distmgr.log said that it could not connect to the source server where the files are located. It started working again after I deleted the packages and restart the server. It did take a while though to be copied to Distribution points. Thank you all...
  4. Hello all, I'm a new user on both your site and also to the SCCM 2007 world. I would like to take the opportunity to thank you for a job well done on so many articles. I'm having an issue with my SCCM server. I followed your guide on how to successfully deployed Firefox, was able to create and successfully deployed a package. However, I notice in the last 2 days, whenever I create a package, advertise and distribute it, it got stuck to "Install Pending" status and won't go any further. I tried to look for the distmgr log, cannot locate the file. Any help will be appreciated. Thank you,
