I'm facing issue with client installation. I receive error: Couldn't verify 'C:\Windows\ccmsetup\vcredist_ x86.exe' authenticode signature. Return code 0x80096010 InstallFromManifest failed 0x80004005 CcmSetup failed with error code 0x80004005 I'm using SCCM 2012 and Windows Server 2008 R2. Also I tried to install Hotfix 457899_ENU_x64_zip but when I extract it, it gives me file ConfigMgr2012-SP1-KB2801987- X64-ENU. But my SCCM is without Service Pack. When I tried to upgrade to SCCM 2012 SP1, it gives me warning "Configuration Manager requires Windows Server Update Services (WSUS) of at least version 3.0 SP2 with KB2720211 and KB2734608 installed". When I try to install either of these 2 updates, it give me error "The Upgrade patch cannot be installed by the windows Installer service because the program to be upgraded may be missing or the upgrade patch may update a different version of the program. Verify that the program to be upgraded exists on your computer and that you have the correct upgrade patch". I'm afraid that If i continue the installation, WSUS will give me error stating "WSUS is not installed".

I follow you above given steps but MP_control_Manager is still showing error. MP troubleshooting tool - Pre-installation check says WebDAV is not configured. Please help me as early as possible. Thank you.

Hi, I'm trying to install SCCM 2007 ON WIN2K3 R2. I dont have access to Internet in the domain in which SCCM server is installed, to download patches to SCCM catalog. But, there is another domain and Internet access is available in that. Can I plug the network cable of the Internet domain to SCCM server and add the proxy settings and then Sync SCCM server for updating catalog. Let me know if you need more information.

Thank you for your reply. I found the link to enable Bits and WebDav in 2k3 from Windows-noob. Do we need to configure WebDav as mentioned above in win2k3? or just install is fine.

How can I install WebDav in Windows 2003 R2 SP2. Kindly provide the link to download WebDav for IIS which is built-in with 2k3 windows. I have WebDav for ISS7, when i try to run it, it is asking to install IIS7. Any suggestion???

I see below message in LocationService.log file Unknown task LSProxyMPModificationTask in non-quarantine - ignoring.
