  1. Been trying to come up with a custom report for software not installed on computers. I have setup a report that gives me the computers with the software installed but when I attempt to change it to the NOT IN subset it errors out. error is SYS.Netbios_Name0 cannot be bound. Select SYS.Netbios_Name0, SYS.User_Name0, SP.ProductName, SP.CompanyName, SP.ProductVersion FROM v_GS_SoftwareProduct SP where SYS.Netbios_Name0 not in (Select SYS.Netbios_Name0, SYS.User_Name0, SP.ProductName, SP.CompanyName, SP.ProductVersion FROM v_GS_SoftwareProduct SP JOIN v_R_System SYS on SP.ResourceID = SYS.ResourceID WHERE SP.ProductName = 'Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0') any help would be appreciated.
  2. the computers show up in the collection, collection properties shows the advertisment, distribution points are set to download content, clients are allowed to fall back to unprotected dp, priority is medium with no mandatory assignments. I did not use a task sequence for this app. I created the package, then the program and finally advertised it to the collection. thanks.
  3. it is advertised to a direct membership sub collection. it is a sub to a collection created by query. the query targets a specific AD OU. The computers are SP2 and I am testing the SP3 upgrade and want the user to start the install when they have time to do the lengthy install.
  4. The package for SP3 has been created, program was setup and then advertised to a test collection. As I understand the task,if you do not assign a mandatory assignement it should show up in the "Run Advertised Programs", it has not not sure how to troubleshoot the problem. Any ideas?
