All firewalls are disabled, dns works, client resolves to server and vice versa, nslookup and ping. Eventhough AD, DNS, DHCP and SCE are all running on the same server. When I open the console, by default its sees the itself under computers and All servers section but with an error under the health state. The only thing that is since its on a isolated network, there is no internet access. ( no real gateway) would that matter?

I was asked to quickly setup SMS to push out a test installer for an application. I tried the trial version of SCCM and that failed miserably. So next is MS SCE 2007 vhd. I downloaded the trial VHD from MS, loaded up on a Windows 7 Virtual pc system. Once the windows server 2003 comes up, I install AD, DNS, and DHCP on a test network. Then I install SCE 2007. Once it comes up of course it sees the server itself. I then added test XP to the test domain. DHCP, DNS and AD works, the XP shows up in AD fine. Once I try to discover the xp nothing. No matter if I tried local admin or domain account. What else am I missing?
