Can someone please explain this to me. I have a task sequence created with SCCM 2012 , which works fine with PCs except for some clients. at the "apply operating system" step sequence error out complaining about the hash value. the funny thing is the same sequence works with other PCs. Contents are set to download to local PC and execute not directly access from the DP . the only thing I can think of is that, during the testing of the sequence, the sequence failed few times on these clients but after I got it to work, it still fails on these client. has anyone seen this?

Is there a way to have a computer description field in MDT 2012 UDI Wizard? so that information would populate the AD, computer object's computer description field.

I have created the page, but need to know how/where to use the variables, so the description will appear in the AD under the object description

Do we still need to configure WebDav for SCCM 2012 setup?

in my case I will only have a primary site server and 4 other site server, so I'll upgrade the primary site to SP1, do I have to do anything to the other site servers(these servers will only have DP and PXE role installed)?

guys, Do you think SCCM2012 RTM will supprt a direct upgrade to SCCM 2012 SP1 final , when it's release? or do we need to do a fresh install with SP1?

I got it fixed. I was copying files from the SYSWOW64 folder instead of the system 32 folder.

Sorted. I've deleted the RESETISAPI.TRN file and rebooted the server.

Resolution for Cause 2 You can prevent such a scan if you delete RESETISAPI.TRN before SMS_Distribution_Manager can pickup the file - rename distmgr.dll to distmgr.org before the site reset happens. If the site reset finished by SMS_Site_Component_Manager and you have delete the TRN, rename back the DLL and restart SMS_EXECUTIVE. Note You can upgrade SMS hidden file ISAPI on all BITS enabled distribution points for example over night by creating RESETISAPI.TRN in INBOXES\DistMgr.BOX directory.

Hi Guys Since yesterday( after reboot) when ever we try to distribute or remove a package from DPs on the primary site and branch sites the it always stuck at install pending or removal pending and nothing happens. PXE and adverts all work normaly. By looking at the distmgr.log only show the activity on one of the branch sites (since yesterday), can't find any entries for the primary site or other branch sites. I think so, I've updated the HTA with my domain details, which is DJ.local and the DC name is DJDC.

yes, I did change it to my domain details. one thing I noticed is that, if I were to run the file on a windows 8 x64 PC I get the results without any errors, but the error comes up when I try to run this from winPE.
