Hello, I have build an Windows 2008 R2 Server with SCCM 2007 R3. Now I will create in another Location ( same AD ) an standard Distribution Server on a Windows 2008 R2 Fileserver but run everytime in errors that the Package ( Install Retrying). I found some installation guides with the settings for IIS / Webdav and change these settings. I create a share on the Distribution Point and set the full permissions for the Server Account from the SCCM server to the share and security. ( I can´t find here any installation guide and hope that is correct ) What I saw is that in the IIS 7 in the default side there is nothing include from the SCCM like in Windows 2003. Because I also try to install a standard distribution point in the same location on a windows 2003 Server. That works without any problems. THe Config Status Message shows " Failed to create virtual directory on the defined share or volume on distribution point "["Display=\\Servername\SCCM$\"]MSWNET:["SMS_SITE=001"]\\Servername\SCCM$\". " Distribution Point : ["Display=\\Servername\SCCM$\"]MSWNET:["SMS_SITE=001"]\\Servername\SCCM$\" Message ID 2344 Did someone know how to fix it .... thanks
