  1. Trying to import the Surface Pro 3 drivers into SCCM 2012 R2. The process completes however the import wizards gives the error below: Error: Some driver package(s) are updated on distribution points successfully. But some are not. Errors Surface Pro 3 - The SMS Provider reported an error. This also results in the source directory being empty. DriverCatalog.log shows a number of successful imports with a “Successfully initialized driver digest.” Testing in home SCCM 2012 R2 lab with Windows Server 2008 R2 and the same driver package imports successfully with files in the package source. The only difference is that in production (where the failure occurs) I have previously imported the Surface Pro 1 and 2 drivers. Which in trouble shooting I have since deleted. I see a few other forms posts speaking too source folder permissions (tested not an issue) and incompatible “supported platforms” with the Surface Pro 3 and Server 2008 R2 – but my log files don’t line up with this solution. I am stuck.
  2. Hello, We are running SCCM 2012 SP1 ,I'm trying to import new drivers and the import process is stuck on "validating file permissions and getting driver attributes". Any idea what might be causing that ?
  3. Hi. Have a question regarding driver packages in SCCM 2012. We have added driver packages for different computer modells, we can se that it access the packages but no drivers get installed. Then we read that you have to import the drivers as driver packages dont work as before. Is that correct? I think it seems strange that you have to import all drivers to get it to work, as in CM07 driver packages are enough. Do anyone have experience regarding driver packages in CM12? Thanks in advance
  4. Hello, im in trouble with following error when importing drivers. An error occurred while importing the selected driver I think its the DB Move issue. I tryed the following things: http://www.windows-noob.com/forums/index.php?/topic/5225-sccm-2012-rc2-error-occurred-while-importing-the-selected-driver/page__gopid__24112#entry24112 And i found the Microsoft KB http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2709082 1. Manually set the property back to ON by running the following command against your CM database: ALTER DATABASE <ConfigMgr DB> SET TRUSTWORTHY ON 2. Ensure that the database that was moved is owned by SA. 3. Ensure that Isolation Level is set to 'READ_COMMITTED_SNAPSHOT' - To check the Isolation Level run 'DBCC USEROPTIONS' - If it is set to anything else then 'READ COMMITTED SNAPSHOT', please run following commands: ALTER DATABASE <ConfigMgr DB> SET ALLOW_SNAPSHOT_ISOLATION ON ALTER DATABASE <ConfigMgr DB> SET READ_COMMITTED_SNAPSHOT ON Note: You might have to switch the SQL DB to Single User mode before running the two commands in previous step. Once done, please change it back to Multi User mode. Also make sure that all properties are set correctly under Database Properties - Options But what is correctly? I think it is correctly. But it dosnt work! Thanks in advance Huebi
