I have a stack of new Dell Latitude 7470 laptops. Basic configuration information is; Network: Intel I219-LM HDD: Samsung PM951 NVMe M.2 BIOS: UEFI w/Legacy Integrated NIC = Enabled w/PXE SATA Operation = RAID Wake on LAN = LAN or WLAN Secure Boot = Disabled Fastboot = Auto They were pre-loaded with Windows 10 but due to application compatibility we need to roll back to Windows 7. The Boot Image in SCCM R2 SP1 is version 10.0.10586.0. I did apply the KB3143760 ( http://en.community....s-7-driver-pack Dell WinPE 10 Driver Pack - http://en.community....-10-driver-pack Basic VMWare drivers Intel 20.7 CD (\PRO1000\Winx64\NDIS62) The USB stick is in the port in the back of the laptop, or on the right hand side. Run the LaunchMedia.cmd, it runs, I put in the information required and it reboots into WinPE, it gets to the hardware initialization and gives me the "unable to read task sequence configuration disk" message. Then I have to stick a Windows 7 boot drive in and repair the installation to get it to boot back into windows 7. WInPE was preloaded onto the NVMe drive and is now unaccessable? Do these USB sticks need to be formatted as UEFI bootable? I am sure I can get these images pulled from a VM, ibut I am equally sure that we won't be able to push the image out if we don;t have a working Boot Image. Any help appreciated SMSTS20160316_02.log
