We are having a problem deploying Windows OS from WDS for new 4th Gen laptops with I218-LM. Environment : 1. WDS installed on server 2012 (VLAN 1). 2. We have 5 buildings in the campus. Each building is a seperate VLAN. 3. DHCP server is on VLAN 1 (Building 1 - Datacenter). Scenario : 1. We have more than 3000 clients, on which we are able to deploy OS through current setup. 2. We bought 100nos of new Acer TM645 and HP elitebook 840, which are both 4th Gen Intel i5 with Intel I238-LM Ethernet Port. 3. We tried PXE boot these two model but we get - "PXE-E52 proxyDHCP offers were received. No DHCP offers were received". It doesnt even acquire IP. But it recieves IP in OS mode and network works fine. Only PXE problem. 4. We tried to take the laptop and connect in the same VLAN as DHCP i.e. VLAN1. But still same error. 5. Then we setup a private network through a sepearte switch with another DCHP and WDS and booted. It booted and worked. We are able to deploy OS. 6. Note : We have put BIOS in legacy mode not UEFI. Has anyone faced this kind of problem. Any solutions?
