Hi Community, I have been fighting a problem the last couple of days. I have been trying to install HP Probook 430 G1, 650 G1 and Surface 1 and 2 generation. When deploying MDT first time the installation goes trough correct but when reinstalling the computer apply everything to the first restart then it restart back into WinPE and say dirt envoirment. Cant understand why it's doing this, but if I run diskpart before I start task sequence it goes trough correct. Have anyone seen this before? Kind regards EGGLAS

Hi I followed the following walkthrough(http://www.vkernel.ro/blog/creating-an-offline-mdt-deployment-media) and was able to boot into litetouch on the vm I am trying to sysprep and capture. However when I get to language selection the section is blank and I cannot choose a language, halting me from continuing. This is my first tome using MDT. Any tips?

I have been beating my brains out for over a week. I have a few models of Dell PC's that can no longer PXE boot to the LiteTouchPE_x64.wim image. However, the can boot to the 32 bit one. What it does is it loads (slowly) the Boot image and as it gets ready to load it gives an error from Windows Boot Manager: Windows failed to start. A recent hardware or software change might be the cause. Blah Blah Info: The Application or operating system couldn't be loaded because the required file is missing or contains errors. Different models show different missing files Dell Optiplex 745's bxvbda.sys Dell Optiplex 780's winload.exe Both of these models were working previously and no changes were made to the server before the error occurred.

I have an older Dell OptiPlex 760 that I'm attempting to deploy Windows 8.1 to using MDT 2013 and Litetouch. If I use the plain Windows 8.1 install media, Windows loads on the machine and everything works fine. However... When I deploy Windows 8.1 through Litetouch, I end up with no USB drivers loaded, and therefore no mouse and keyboard on the machine. I made sure that I have the same .INF files in the MDT Out-Of-Box Drivers that are on the install media, but PnP doesn't seem to pick them up during deployment. Any ideas?

Hi All, I have deployed MDT throughout our business using WDS as the deployment mechanism through PXE, however have noted a problem today. Scenario: Server A running WDS, MDT and WAIK Server B running WDS (I have since added MDT and WAIK without success) - Info to follow. I wish to deploy using a multicast stream. Server A works, however Server B does not. I have DFS-R replicating the deployment share and RemoteInstall\boot folder to 'Server B' but it appears multicast transmission is not enabled. Can you advise how I can get this working. As it stands site B using 'Server B' is broadcasting which is not acceptable. I work for a large company. We'll deploy Win7 to hundreds of computers with MDT medias (install from USB because of network portion was not ready). We plan to do the subsequent installations via SCCM. But I'd like to do lite touch installation with SCCM 2007 R3; while installing, setup should ask for computer name, where it should reside in (I'm using domainou.xml file with MDT) and time zone. Is this possible?

Hello, We have been booting from PXE for quite some time now. The WDS server (Windows Server 2003 SP 2) was running very slow and I had to restart the server. The server also runs Deployment Workbench and does not run DHCP. After restarting the server, PXE boot is not working anymore and is giving the PXE-E53 error. The person who installed it has left our company, so I am unsure where to start. Any assistance would be appreciated and if you need more information, just let me know. Thanks, Rob
