Hei ho, I wonder if anyone can help me with this strange error. I have followed the the instructions here to a tee to install a test of SCCM 2012 but have hit a strange error - Config. Manager cannot connect to the site. And this has me perplexed as the account I am using has full domain rights to this test server, has full access to all files\folders, full access to SQL and was used to install SCCM itself. The only item I cannot confirm is point 4: been assigned to at least one role based admin security role. I am presuming that as the account was used to install in the system it should have access, but maybe I am wrong. The SQL Server 2008 has been patched to SP2 with CU7 and is running locally with all the correct edits to accomodate SCCM 2012 If anyone has any advise, I would appreciate it! Attached is a screen shot of the error message

Hello, I am fairly new to Config Manager and would like some guidance from the pros. Running into an issue when creating Task Sequences for OSD. When i go to deploy the TS, the last page/tab has an alert "A network access account is required to access content from Windows PE" and there is only one option from the drop down, when there used to be two (see pic). I have a NAA setup and verified, and the deployment of a previous TS did not have this issue (10 minutes prior to creating current "problem" TS). I have deleted the TS, NAA, tried a different NAA and TS, but still have the issue. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Hi, I've setup our ConfigMgr 2012 server in our lab environment and "internally" it all works as expected with no issues at all which is great. What we have in our business though is a lot of home workers and a lot of engineers that never come into the office and very rarely bother to connect to the VPN although they do connect to the internet regularly. What I am trying to setup is what I believe was native mode in the old SCCM - where "internet" based clients can send software/hardware inventories, we can remote their machines and also send out software without them having to connect to the VPN. So far, we have bought a test domain and pointed it to our lab configmgr server via DNS and firewall port forwarding. I've also setup the PKI and pushed out the client certificates and setup the server certificates. However, it doesnt work and I think its something to do with the config within the configmgr. Does anyone either have any ideas on this or even better, have any step by step guides on how to do this? Many thanks in advance.....
