HI, hope I can explain my problem. I have been asked to deploy applications at deployment. I have been given multiple unique identifiers (UDI) with multiple apps assign to each UID, on a spreadsheet. I can't pre-provision the machines as there are potentially thousands, and can't user deployments as they are shared devices. I am using UDI wizard so could capture the UID as a variable. any ideas on how I do this, without added the machine into collections post build. thanks any ideas welcome.

I have set up Store Apps on out 1709 environment and i am deploying OFFLINE apps I cannot however get the ONLINE apps to deploy from the store, I have moved the apps to the private store, assigned to myself as a test user, i have recieved the link emails from the store BUT when i follow the link i click to install and get 'There seems to be an error our end, try again later' been having same issue for a week. can anyone help? thanks

Hi All is there any report to get the compliace status for software update deployments for a single computer? I know the is compliance 5 to get the status by update to 1 computer and the Management 5 to get the deployments to 1 computer but I want is to get the deployment status for 1 computer Hope someone here can help on this Regards

By any chance... I am deploying new OS and when I give a name to the new computer before running the task sequence, for some reason if have more than 8 characters when applying the new OS the task sequence fails. Is there any way I can override and set it to take more characters? I noticed it fails during the applying Operating System step

Good Morning All, I am no wizard with SQL or even SCCM reporting, I have dabbled but that's about it... I am looking for a report which will tell me which applications, and which programs do not have any deployments? Can anyone help? Thanks John Rickard

Hello! I have been having an issue trying to get the correct storage drivers for a Dell T7400. I have used the Dell WinPE driver packs and the drivers that are listed on the Dell website. Has anyone been able to successfully pxe deploy this model? Every driver I have tried so far does not enable the hard drive to be seen in WinPE. I also have a T7500 and T7600 that is similar hardware that works. Could all the different versions of the drivers I have included conflict with each other? Any help would be appreciated.

Hello All We are having an issue with our new SCCM Environment. SCCM was happily working, Deploying OS's, Installing and Uninstalling applications and the other day just stopped Uninstalling applications. It will install but wont remove. We are SCCM 2012 SP1 installed on Server 2008R2 we have a Standalone site and our Collections are populated via Querying AD Groups. Our Install and Uninstall Collections are updating and when we check the deployments within properties on the Device it shows the relevant 'Install' or 'Removal' for the required application. What we have noticed is: Before we had the problem even if we didnt have an application installed, within the Software Centre the application would be listed with a Status of Not Installed - Now it does not. If we delete the deployment and recreate we get the same issue If we delete the collection and recreate and then create a new deployment we get the same issue If we create a new application and create an uninstall deployment on the old collection it works We have looked through a lot of logs and have found some errors, not sure of which to post as not sure what is relevant. Can anyone offer any advice? Many Thanks Mark Jones

Does anyone know how to cancel a software update Deployment in SCCM 2012. I cant seem to find the information. I don't see the option to delete /cancel under \Monitoring\Overview\Deployments to cancel. I can only think of two things to do. 1. Delete the Software update Group. 2. Update deployment properties and assign to a dummy collection with no members. I would like to keep the update group if possible.
