hi anyweb,

thank yoo for your reply,

I have checked sccm installation. I did run again the installation and choose "upgrade" and

I let run the prerequisite checker and I see " All required prerequisite tests have complete" . No problem. it seems that AD Schema ist extended.

let me know please why does it work fine on my Domain controller? I can depoly any software on DC without problems.

cheers

P.S. How can I set by deploying any software, where and on which local disk the software should be installed?

No problem. it seems that AD Schema ist extended.

we need to take your problems one at a time,

so are you saying that your AD is or is NOT extended for SCCM ?

Hi anyweb,

regarding my problem with sccm client, I think, why my sccm client does not working. It is DNS Server.

The DNS Server is on Linux Suse installed and it is on the same LAN.

I have Windows 2008 Server DC and the DNS Server is a Linux Suse. If I try on Windows Client to set the DNS IP Adresse from my Windows 2008 Server, then does function the sccm client immadiatley. But if I set on Windows Client the DNS IP Adresse from Linux Suse, then it does not function.

How can I resolve it? Can you help me please?

Regards

P.S. See please on my issue (deploy Software, I cannot see in the ConfigMgr Client)

hi Nick this is interesting

have you looked at these technet pages regarding DNS and SCCM

http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb680365.aspx - Configuration Manager and Name Resolution

http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb632341.aspx - Configuring DNS for Configuration Manager Site System Roles

perhaps suse's DNS needs some configuration but I have no experience with that
