I'm trying to test deployment of Windows 7 RC1 using SCCM 2007 with the new SP2. I used the new Windows 7 WAIK on a Tech machine to create my autounattend.xml file that was used when capturing my image.
It looks as if my Task Sequence through SCCM is working to a point. I can get as far as PXE booting the clients and pulling down my Windows 7 captured image but I get an error when the machines want to restart to start the install (i think) of Windows 7. Basically, on rebooting I get a Windows Recovery Error message and I hit enter to continue. I then get the Win7 logo that quickly changes to a black screen with "Setup is starting services". After a few seconds I then see an error message
"The computer restarted unexpectedly or encountered an unexpected error. Windows installation cannot proceed. To install Windows, click "OK" to restart the computer and then restart the installation"
This error then loops on a reboot.
Anyone got any ideas on what is happening here at this point? This happens on two seperate Dell machines, one an Optiplex 755 desktop and the other is a Latitude D610 machine. I am using an x86 PXE boot package inside the Task Sequence (TS). I haven't added any special driver packages to the TS, I've just used an Auto Apply Drivers task with "Install only the best matched compatible drivers" selected.

This is foxing me!
Any help greatly appreciated.
