newadmsccm Posted March 7, 2014 Report post Posted March 7, 2014 Hi guys, I want know what's best practice in this case: I have one desktop called: COMPUTER01 and I want rename for COMPUTER, after I rename it, in SCCM is better delete COMPUTER01 or SCCM will know I rename computer and automatically change for COMPUTER? jkirshy Posted March 19, 2014 Report post Posted March 19, 2014 If you rename the pc, the mac is the same so eventually it will change in sccm to the new name. I've done it both ways.
