Config_Mgr_noob Posted March 28, 2014 Report post Posted March 28, 2014 Hi All, Would anyone here know how to go about setting up a prompt to select which applications to install prior to the OSD process? In other words, I would like the OSD process to prompt me asking which applications I would like to install without going into the Task Sequence and enable/disable the Install Application step every time I want to include an app. I've seen this configured in my previous job but did not ask how they set it up. It was a window prompt asking to input computer name and options to tick which apps to include for the OSD process. Any suggestions? Thank you in advance. Peter van der Woude Posted March 28, 2014 Report post Posted March 28, 2014 An easy way to create that is by using the MDT integration.
Config_Mgr_noob Posted March 28, 2014 Report post Posted March 28, 2014 I don't see how that would help me create a prompt to select applications to install. The setup that I saw was from my previous employer and I do not have access to it any longer.
Iroqouiz Posted April 1, 2014 Report post Posted April 1, 2014 It's called User Driven Installation. I've had that running in our environment before and it worked fine. Decided to scrap it for different reasons.
