firstcom Posted April 17, 2014 Report post Posted April 17, 2014 We have a captured image that we're using for OS deployments with SCCM 2012 R2. I went into the Scheduled Updates for the OS install image and added all available updates. I confirmed that they were added under the updates tab for the image. But after the OS is applied, when I go into "Install Windows Updates" under Windows Update, it's showing that all of the updates that should have been added offline through SCCM still need to be installed. I've tried to re-distribute the image but I get the same thing. Am I missing a step? What would cause this? Does using the "Scheduled Updates" tab inject the updates directly into the image or is there another step in the task sequence that I need to add?
