Error with injecting drivers

Question

PEIMG failed to complete the operation with status code 0x800703fb. This is the error message I get when I try to inject drivers to my boot.wim file. Looking at the forum, this is something to do with the path not found or something. I have double checked everything and the path I am using is correct. Does any-one have any idea about this and how I can resolve it?

Thanking you in advance ;)

yes as per your instructions...

I have tried running it from another drive and I get the same error message. I can mount and un-mount the boot.wim image OK.

I think this was the orignal problem I was having... any ideas???

Ok just discovered this, if I use the /apply switch rather than the /mountrw switch, injecting the drivers works? do you know why this is?

PROBLEM SOLVED... I needed version 1.01 of the AIK... I can rest now wink.gif

Hi I have the same problem as you described above. Are you doing the injecting from your Windows 2003 R2 server or a vista/xp client machine?

Do you have the link for the version of AIK that I need?

Many thanks
