I have two Windows 2008 Servers at two seperate physical locations VPNed together using an Untangle box at each location. We are building different XP images at each location, but we'd like the images to synchronize between the locations. Is it kosher to set the RemoteInstall share as a DFS Sync share as well? Will the destination server pick up images that are copied as opposed to added to the list manually?
The last deployment software I used was RIS and with it you could add response file and "image" folders (folder structures) then restart BINL and all everything would be picked up by the server.
