stuffygibbon Posted May 12, 2014 Report post Posted May 12, 2014 Hi guys! I'm looking to expand the power management of windows 7 laptops via SCCM 2012 to include; thin clients running WES 7 (HP T610) Servers running server 2012 (HP DL380 G8). Virtual servers running server 2012 The laptops work great and you can clearly see that SCCM has added my custom profile in control panel on the devices. I can't get either the T610 or servers to show/apply my custom profiles. Client settings are correct. Any ideas? Thanks guys
Peter van der Woude Posted May 12, 2014 Report post Posted May 12, 2014 Are you sure those devices are capable of power management? See also: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/gg699376.aspx
stuffygibbon Posted May 13, 2014 Report post Posted May 13, 2014 Hi Peter, I think you're right and they are not capable of it Maybe GPO might be a better route.
Peter van der Woude Posted May 13, 2014 Report post Posted May 13, 2014 Theoratically that should do the same. So, if it doesn't work via ConfigMgr, it probably doesn't work via a GPO either...
