davedavedave Posted May 23, 2014 Report post Posted May 23, 2014 should i place the Management point at every DP?
wilbywilson Posted May 23, 2014 Report post Posted May 23, 2014 No, you don't need a Management Point at every location. The clients should be able to report their software/hardware inventory to the central MP, assuming everything is configured correctly (the client machines need to be in a working boundary, client settings need to have software/hardware inventory enabled, etc.) Have you looked at the "inventoryagent.log" file on a client machine? Sure i did, but the log seems normal i have create the MP on every location last week, and all my test client able to upload the inventory now, seems the network form client to server got acl blocking, but no limitation between server to server.
