Strange behavior of Software and Hardware inventory

Hi Guys

 

my deployment is under testing environment now. i have 8 computer under 8 different site with separate Distribution point under single Management point in HQ.

 

in all the computer inventory log show it have already inventory successfully. but the result in the SCCM is not, some of it was able to update the inventory result

 

but some of it never have the scan result, but the policy pull is updated. what am i missing?

No, you don't need a Management Point at every location. The clients should be able to report their software/hardware inventory to the central MP, assuming everything is configured correctly (the client machines need to be in a working boundary, client settings need to have software/hardware inventory enabled, etc.)

 

Have you looked at the "inventoryagent.log" file on a client machine?

Sure i did, but the log seems normal

 

i have create the MP on every location last week, and all my test client able to upload the inventory now, seems the network form client to server got acl blocking, but no limitation between server to server.
