fbnella Posted May 26, 2014 Report post Posted May 26, 2014 I'm having an issue when trying to get winpe 5.0 to boot in uefi. It will fail at initializing hardware when, I'm assuming, trying to initialize the nic. However, if I switch the bios over to allow legacy boot, the same boot image works fine. Any thoughts as to what might be going on? Thanks

Jorgen Nilsson Posted May 26, 2014 Report post Posted May 26, 2014 HI, Some more information would be helpful as well, like which version of ConfigMgr are you using? 2012 sp1? R2?, are you using PXE boot or boot from an USB drive? Regards,Jörgen
Mikey C Posted May 28, 2014 Report post Posted May 28, 2014 To double check NIC driver is the cause, press F8 and run ipconfig.
