WSUS Error

Hi All,

 

I'm getting the following error and just wondered if anyone has seen this error and been able to solve it? I've checked permissions, and managed to get it to start syncing through telling the software update point component to synchronize from microsoft update.

 

7003 WSUS Control Manager failed to monitor WSUS Server ". Possible cause: WSUS Server version 3.0 SP2 or above is not installed or cannot be contacted. Solution: Verify that the WSUS Server version 3.0 SP2 or greater is installed. Verify that the IIS ports configured in the site are same as those configured on the WSUS IIS website.

Is your software update point still having problems (as you mentioned a succesfull synchronization)?

Its working, but giving messaged ID 7003, 7000 and 6600. All mentioning to verify that the IIS ports configured in the site are same as those configured on the WSUS IIS website.

Managed to fix this in the end by reinstalling WSUS and by selecting Database rather than WID database.
