FearThePenguins Posted June 5, 2014 Report post Posted June 5, 2014 We currently have a strange error when trying to deploy operating systems from the task sequence. We are told that Configuration manager could not find the client package on the distribution point. Yet when I check the status of the item it is showing as on the distribution point. Any ideas? I have already tried redistributing the package to the DP and removed the DP role altogether and re-added to see if the role was the problem. Jorgen Nilsson Posted June 9, 2014 Report post Posted June 9, 2014 Hi, have you set the task sequence to "access content directly from DP" then the you must use a custom made client installation package because the builtin is read-only.
