Error 0x80004005 when trying to capture image

Hi

 

When I try to run a capture

I get the error as above, this happens as soon as I run the TSMBAutorun.exe from the cd.

The image is from a windows 7 machine which has sccm 2007 agent running. I have disabled the firewall and uninstalled the AV.

amongst the many errors (such as running the media twice and from different drives (d:,e:) I think the actual error is here

 

Failed to prepare SMS Client for capture, hr=80070002

Failed to run the action: Prepare Configuration Manager Client.
The system cannot find the file specified. (Error: 80070002; Source: Windows)

 

 

 

can you tell us how you've prepared your client operating system ? does it have the configuration manager client installed ? if so what version >?

 

can you try uninstalling it using the command below then reboot once done and try again

ccmsetup /uninstall

It has the sccm 2007 client installed, I am trying to image it with a test sccm 2012 environment. I will uninstall the sccm 2007 client and then run the capture.

The problem was the fact that the SCCM 2007 agent was still installed. After uninstalling the agent I managed to take a capture, thanks for your help in this.
