Cannot install clients

Hello,

 

i have a small issue with SCCM 2012.

i am trying to install the clients via group policy.

 

the command i am using is the following.

\\server.domain.com\SMS_VTL\Client\ccmsetup.exe /q /SMSMP=SERVER SMSSLP=SERVER FSP=SERVER SMSSITECODE=VTL"

 

however the client gets installed on the computers but is unable to get assigned to the site. even when i try to set it manually it fails.

 

i have checked the boundaries and boundary groups on the SCCM and they are properly configured.

 

this is what i got in the ClientLocation.log

the command i am using is the following.

In ConfigMgr 2012 the SLP is an extra functionality of the MP, so the SMSSLP= is not needed anymore. Also, remove the / before SMSMP. Keep in mind that the auto discover will only work when the site information is written to the AD.
