Hillsmeister Posted July 1, 2014 Report post Posted July 1, 2014 Hi All, New to the site so please be gentle and excuse my noobishness! I am looking at implementing Out of Band Management within my company but I have some questions that i was hoping someone would help clarify for me. In our environment we use SCCM2012 R2 on Server 2008 R2 Infrastructure with Windows 7 x64-Bit Hewlett Packard Desktops. I have been reading through various Technet articles and also read a good blog here too: http://systemcenterconfiguration.wordpress.com/2013/02/14/out-of-band-management-on-configuration-manager-2012-sp1-part-1/ One of the questions that imeediately pops up is that we use a 3rd Party to provide a Disaster Recovery (DR) service to us and as such we "lease" the DR machines from them. As a result we cannot include these machines within OOB management as we cannot apply our proposed AMT password naming onto these machines. Is there a way to segregate these DR machines from being provisioned so that just our Production machines are done? From my research so far it appears that any machines on our network will be picked up and "provisioned" by the SCCM 2012 OOB role.
