vluu Posted July 14, 2014 Report post Posted July 14, 2014 Hi, I'm setting up SCCM 2012 in my environment and would like feedback of best practice setup. I have 3 domains at work in three different forests and spread across location). -Domain users..com is where all our users are. Location are in US with 2 datacenter, Canada (1 datacenter), and Mexico (1 datacenter) -Domain resource.com is for our exchange. Location in US. (Both of these domain have two way trust. Although resource.com trust with users.com is selective authentication) -Domain dmz.com , no trust with any of the other domains . Location in US I have already set up a primary site server in US on domain users.com which i will use to server the US. I guess I should put a secondary site server in Canada and Mexico and these would be DPs? Since dmz.com in also in the US, I guess I can add forest discovery to my primary site server and that would service the dmz.com domain? should I add another DP server in the other datacenter in the US? Please let me know what you think and recommend. thx
Peter van der Woude Posted July 14, 2014 Report post Posted July 14, 2014 Different locations, domains and trusts, are not really reasons to install a specific site server/system. Numbers are more important, numbers like network connections and the number of clients.
