This SMS client will no longer attempt to locate this content. Possible cause: The content source might not be available on any distribution servers, or the advertisement may have been marked not to run program when no local Distribution Point is available and this SMS client is in remote roaming boundaries of the site. Content source might not be available because the advertisement is configured with the option Run program from distribution point on one or more branch distribution points and is not available on a standard distribution point. Branch distribution points do not support advertisements that are configured with the option Run program from distribution point. Solution: Use the Manage Distribution Points wizard to distribute the content to a distribution point. If this SMS client is expected to stay in remote roaming binderies then change the advertisement to allow running program from remote Distribution Point. Use the Manage Distribution Points wizard to distribute the content to a standard distribution point if you want to use the option Run program from distribution point. - Until now i tried 100 times to creat new Destribution Points and Packages. - It cant be any Network Problems beacuse i can acces the SMSPKGC$ share from the client. - if u need any Further Informations pls tell me... il Attach some logs below, too: (the first two are server logs the others are client logs) Thx for ur help Greez Wussel ccm.log sitecomp.log CAS.log ContentTransferManager.log DataTransferService.log execmgr.log
anyweb Posted July 24, 2009 Report post Posted July 24, 2009 hi there first of all look at this error No matching DP Location found which means it cant find the distribution point, so did you distribute the package and then update the distribution point for the package ? and for testing, disable the firewall on the clients for now and lastly, do an nslookup test from the client if it's not reporting the domain controller properly then things wont work oh and one more thing, make sure the client is listed as Client = Yes in the All Systems collection
Wussel Posted August 5, 2009 Report post Posted August 5, 2009 Hi anyweb, thanks for ur Reply. first of all look at this error No matching DP Location found As i said i did exactly what ur guide told me to do So i made the package as it should be... I remade them many times... I tried to solv this problem arround 2 Weeks, so i recreatet the packages and DPs arround 100 times. It cant be a problem of the DP i think. and for testing, disable the firewall on the clients for now already done since begining. and lastly, do an nslookup test from the client My Server is the DNS-Server of the Network too... There are no DNS or Network Problems... i can connect from the client to the share where the SCCM stores all his Packages. oh and one more thing, make sure the client is listed as Client = Yes in the All Systems collection already checked any other suggestions?
