removing disabled computer accounts from config mgr database

Recommended Posts

I ran a dsquery in order to move all computer accounts that have not been logged onto in 4 months to an OU where they were disabled. These accounts will be eventually deleted the problem I'm running into like so many others is how to purge these accounts from the configuration manager database. I have ran the site maintenance task delete obsolete client discovery data. Of course this did not work I also thought about creating a collection looking for user account control number 4098. However, that can't be done because when I ran the system discovery nothing was updated so all computer accounts are showing 4096. So my only option is to create a collection where client install equals no or maybe a powershell script that can clean the disabled computer accounts from the configuration manager database. I am thinking about turning off the system discovery method and just using the heartbeat data. So my question is how would you guys handle this?
