Steve G. Posted July 29, 2014 Report post Posted July 29, 2014 Since about the beginning of the year, I've started see a large number of clients that never tick over from "Required". Can anyone recommend a good practice that might help indicate why updates won't install for a given computer? Perhaps a canned report that indicates the issue? Peter van der Woude Posted July 29, 2014 Report post Posted July 29, 2014 This is very little information... If you're simply looking for troubleshooting reports, you might want to look at the reports in the category Software Updates - E Troubleshooting. I thought for a time that it was related to boundaries and distributions points, but I can see the computers that require the update, and they are not of one specific type or located in one specific location. My guess would be some kind of client issue. Hopefully, it's not WMI-related.
Peter van der Woude Posted July 30, 2014 Report post Posted July 30, 2014 Did you also check on a client itself to see what it's doing?
