Question on Copy Profile When does it take place and my Gold Image which answer file should i use?

Here is my dilemma.

 

Built a Windows 7 x64 image using MDT 2012 Capture/sysprep task sequence. I understand that the copy profile takes place during the deployment and not during the capture?

Is that correct?

 

If that is the case when importing my Image into SCCM 2012 do I create a new answer file for my image or do I import the answer file created in the MDT 2012 during capture/sysprep?

 

If the copy profile takes place during the capture then do I need to use an answer file over at all and just let SCCM 2012 generate it's answer file by default?

My image has all the custom settings I want baked in already and mainly using the answer file for the copy profile.

 

I am building a fresh image now and before bringing this image back into SCCM wanted to make sure I do everything correctly.
