regan Posted October 1, 2014 Report post Posted October 1, 2014 Ive managed to add WSUS to my sccm configuration and push out updates but im trying to now add SCUP and i am unable to create a certificate which i believe is a change to WSUS 4.0? if WSUS automatically creates its own cert can i not just find and use that? wilbywilson Posted October 1, 2014 Report post Posted October 1, 2014 These articles may help you out: http://blogs.technet.com/b/wsus/archive/2013/08/15/wsus-no-longer-issues-self-signed-certificates.aspx http://windowsdeployments.net/signing-certificate-issues-with-scup-2011-on-server-2012-r2/ (If you've got a certificate server in your environment, I would use that to generate the cert.) regan Posted October 1, 2014 Report post Posted October 1, 2014 thanks, ive tried the following and restarted the wsus service and sccm/wsus server with the same result, it refuses to create a cert. Haven't got much knowledge when it comes to creating a cert to tell you the truth HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Update Services\Server\Setup\ Create DWORD value: EnableSelfSignedCertificates =
