Shaybin Posted October 13, 2014 Report post Posted October 13, 2014 Hello I've installed and configured SCCM 2012, now my problem is that clients are unable to boot to PXE. I've configured all of the DHCP options as stated, yet when clients tries to boot into PXE they get the error : PXE Fails with "PXE-T04: Access Violation” Any idea what else I should be looking into? Spent literally hours trying to fix this yet no luck. Thank youd
Peter van der Woude Posted October 13, 2014 Report post Posted October 13, 2014 You probably need an IP Helper (or DHCP option) to point to your PXE server. For more information, see: http://social.technet.microsoft.com/wiki/contents/articles/12152.pxe-fails-with-pxe-t04-access-violation-and-pxe-e36-error-received-from-tftp-server.aspx

n0s Posted October 16, 2014 Report post Posted October 16, 2014 Can u verify the following key in the registry on the server you are using for PXE. [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\WDSServer\Providers\WDSTFTP] ReadFilter= \boot\* \tmp\* boot\* tmp\* \SMSBoot\* \SMSTemp\* \SMSImages\* The access violation could also mean that u simply dont have access to the needed files.
