Hi,

 

Recently we have been having problems deploying any image to client machines.

 

Initially our SCCM server stopped responding to all PXE requests but after numerous re-installs of components, client machines can now PXE boot into the PE client.

 

Now we are having an issue once the client boots into PE.

Once the PE starts loading it reboots before it gets to the task sequence.

 

The smsts log contains the following error:

Googling the error code suggests a PXE certificate error, I've regenerated the PXE certificate and restarted the WDS service but still receive the same error.

 

I have also tried the following to no avail:

Created a new boot image

Re-imported the XP OS

Created a new task sequence and advertised to a new collection

Rebooted the server

 

Has anyone experienced a similar problem before?

Apologies for the late reply.

 

PE crashes out 2 different points randomly.

 

These are either:

"Windows is starting"

or

"Preparing Network Connections"

I read "No MP Certificates", maby this link might help: http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/configmgrosd/thread/0b0a5940-cf66-414a-8e93-997215667cbd

 

And otherwise I think of two things:

1. Is see two different ip ranges: 172.16.1.16 and 172.18.5.128 can they reach eachother?

2. Is your Network Access Account locked?
