chrischambers Posted November 30, 2014 Report post Posted November 30, 2014 I am hitting my head ageist a wall and I can’t work out why When I boot my PXE client I am getting to the flash screen, and I am getting a IP Address, but then my machine is rebooting. My domain layout is Win 8 DC Controller with DNS running FIX IP DNS ref one is point to itself DNS ref two is point to the Router Win 8 Member server with SCCM, PXE, WDS, WCUS FIX IP DNS ref one is point to the DNS Server DNS ref two is point to the Router My DHCP is on my router. with is at 192.168.0.1. and I have a DHCP range of 192.168.0.100 to 192.168.0.150. I have imported the drivers for a Dell 6220 laptop I also import the windows WIM File and Operating system into the SCCM, and deploy them all to the DP I have pasted in the SMS Trace log, which I am confused about and would like some advice on how I can get my laptop to build from my SCCM. 0 T1mnl Posted November 30, 2014 Report post Posted November 30, 2014 Check your date and time. I have seen this behavior when the time is out of sync.
0 chrischambers Posted November 30, 2014 Report post Posted November 30, 2014 Hi. I have check the time, and I also run the domain command "NET TIME" to make sure that times are the same, and I still am getting the same issues. 0 anyweb Posted November 30, 2014 Report post Posted November 30, 2014 that's a network issue not date/time, make sure you've added the network drivers for your hardware to the boot image you are booting from as it requires network drivers by the looks of things, you mentioned you added drivers for the dell e6220 but you didn't say if you added the network drivers to the boot wim, did you ? 0 chrischambers Posted November 30, 2014 Report post Posted November 30, 2014 I think I have added my Drivers to Boot wim. I have added them to the Drivers Section, and then deploy them, and also added them to a package, and if I reminder right, somewhere in there it asked about which boot wim, x86 or x64 I want them link to and I choose both, how can I check this ? is there a command or section within SCCM I can refer to ? 0 Peter van der Woude Posted November 30, 2014 Report post Posted November 30, 2014 When you added the drivers via the ConfigMgr console, you should be able to very the drivers in the boot image via the properties of the boot image. The tab Drivers should display them.

0 T1mnl Posted November 30, 2014 Report post Posted November 30, 2014 "When I boot my PXE client I am getting to the flash screen, and I am getting a IP Address, but then my machine is rebooting." Do you have a ip address or dont you get a ip address after the pxe boot. ( F8 support enabled?)
0 anyweb Posted November 30, 2014 Report post Posted November 30, 2014 and you shouldn't be adding wireless or bluetooth drivers to your boot wim, only import the network driver you actually need for the deployment.
0 T1mnl Posted November 30, 2014 Report post Posted November 30, 2014 Dont forget the storage driver if needed.
0 chrischambers Posted December 1, 2014 Report post Posted December 1, 2014 @ Administrator, I just bumped all the drivers into SCCM as I wasn't sure at the time what I need, but I will go back and remove all the Wireless and Bluetooth drivers, once I have the SCCM PXE working. @Newbie. I am not sure on what you mean by storage driver ?
