North Posted December 8, 2014 Report post Posted December 8, 2014 Hello everyone! I apologize in advance for my English. SCCM 2012 R2 CU3 primary site and 5 secondary. SQL Server 2012 R2 SP1 CU9 Autogrowth By 512 MB to Unlimited The total number of 13,000 Clients (Srv and Wks) and 17000 (Users and groups). DB last 3 weeks increased from 90 GB to 190 GB, the rapid growth in the day to 5GB. I reduced the storage of data in the "Site Maintenance" in order to stop the growth. Has not changed. What could be the reason and how to find it?
ludi2014 Posted December 8, 2014 Report post Posted December 8, 2014 HI If you discovering groups and groups include other groups and user.......its give some point to DB. I set user discovery on a small subset OU and told it to look in groups. Unbeknownst to me, authenticated users, or a group like it, is a member of one of those groups and my “All Users” collection is discovering waaaaaaaaaaay more users than sccm needs to have in it.. kind regard Safet Grahic http://www.learnmesccm.com/ https://www.linkedin...ahic/a0/842/b21
North Posted December 8, 2014 Report post Posted December 8, 2014 Discovery was always enabled and does not cause growth
