Refresh in Place windows7x4 to windows8.1x64 using sccm 2012 and MDT 2013 integrated

Hi All,

 

I am trying to migrade( to refresh) my windows7x64 with all installed applications, directories, data files to windows8.1x64.

I am using sccm 2012 R2 with integrated MDT 2013. I created a TS with MDT and deploy it to my windows7x64 machine. After migration I see that the OS is upgraded to windows8.1 successfully and my both partionen C and D is in place too. On my D Partition was my directories and data files not overwritten, but on my C Partition(System dirve) have my all installed applications, data files, directories been overwritten. I did not get any errors during the migrations.

 

Can anybody help me?

did you configure USMT in any shape or form, it is needed if you want to migrate any users data/settings from one os to another.
