gangaskan Posted December 22, 2014 Report post Posted December 22, 2014 i'm trying to get reporting services started on my server and i have a remote sql server. i verify the server and i get an error, is there a log i can check? does that server need reporting services? i'm pretty sure each do have reporting services installed and running. Peter van der Woude Posted December 22, 2014 Report post Posted December 22, 2014 You need reporting services installed on the machine that you will use for your Reporting Services Point. For a list of relevant log files see: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/hh427342.aspx#BKMK_ReportLog
