tom.mcninch Posted January 13, 2015 Report post Posted January 13, 2015 We have just ventured into the world of supporting windows 8.1 devices in our environment. We have created a basic TS to deploy windows 8.1 (which works correctly), it downloads the SCCM Client, reboots and never completes the TS. We do not see the client installed nor see any errors in the smst.log file.
anyweb Posted January 14, 2015 Report post Posted January 14, 2015 look for the ccmsetup.log, it probably logs the error, attach it here
tom.mcninch Posted January 14, 2015 Report post Posted January 14, 2015 As the TS never launches the client installation after the reboot, there is no ccmsetup.log file. Unless there is a log in a location that I am unaware of. Thoughts?

Peter van der Woude Posted January 14, 2015 Report post Posted January 14, 2015 The issue is indeed most often related to the client installation. If that installation is already started you should find the log files in C:\Windows\ccmsetup\Logs.
tom.mcninch Posted January 14, 2015 Report post Posted January 14, 2015 The installation never starts after the reboot. There is not a ccmsetup directory. I am at a huge lose.
