JTPort Posted January 16, 2015 Report post Posted January 16, 2015 Another easy question I'm sure, but wondering how you set rate limits on a DP thats on a secondary? I can't see the rate limits tab on it. Thanks
Peter van der Woude Posted January 16, 2015 Report post Posted January 16, 2015 It should available via Hierarchy Configuration > File replication.
giftedwon Posted January 19, 2015 Report post Posted January 19, 2015 Actually if your DP is on the secondary site server the option is not there! I found out the hard way!. What you can do is remove the DP role from your secondary site, then deploy a second DP at the location where your secondary site server lays, so that way you can throttle the settings
Peter van der Woude Posted January 19, 2015 Report post Posted January 19, 2015 You don't have the tab in the properties of the DP, but that doesn't mean you can't control it. When the DP is installed on the secondary site server you can manage the throttling settings via the File Replication node in the console, as I mentioned before.
bertelsenbo Posted February 10, 2015 Report post Posted February 10, 2015 You can test this powershell script that can set the rate limits (it worked for me for regular DPs): https://gallery.technet.microsoft.com/scriptcenter/Set-Rate-Limits-for-SCCM-d4740238
