carsontl Posted January 16, 2015 Report post Posted January 16, 2015 Hey guys, I'm struggling to figure out why Bing Bar is showing up in all of our win7 images. Can someone point me in the right direction? Did I slipstream the bing bar install into my .wim on accident? If so, how do I get rid of it? Thanks guys! giftedwon Posted January 19, 2015 Report post Posted January 19, 2015 you probably hit next when installing a microsoft product ' click to to install bingbar!' you ignored it! Anyway you can build an uninstall package to put in your Task sequenec https://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/scriptcenter/en-US/fa2c146c-4fcb-4be4-aa92-e6b4fd68dc0d/custom-program-for-custom-uninstallation?forum=ITCG
Jorgen Nilsson Posted January 19, 2015 Report post Posted January 19, 2015 Hi, If youi build your image directly from Microsoft Update, you need to exclude Bing Bar, check out this post I wrote a while ago. http://ccmexec.com/2013/09/tips-when-building-images-with-configmgr-2012-part-2/ Regards,Jörgen
