Cannot Install Client Manually

Recommended Posts

For OSD, client gets pushed and looks good has my company name and site server show it to be installed and active but deployments do not get to the machine. I tried forcing machine policy update but still nothing. I need help on making sure the client works.

I confirmed that pushing the client from the site server works...during deployment something must have gotten corrupted.

This post is very confusing... can you be a bit more specific on what is working and what not?

Ok i have a very weird problem when performing an OSD with of course the client installed. The client installs but it doesnt retrieve all the client settings like it should but on the site server it states it sees the client and its active. I tried to uninstall the client which it did work here is the error i get from the ccmsetup.log when i try to install the client from the site server

So the client actually gets deployed perfectly from what i can tell. The company name and correct settings for remote is correct. I have applications that are preinstalled but also i have the same applications being deployed through the collection as well in case one gets left out. I can perform remote to the client but its taking a long time to collect the information of what software is already installed on the machine.

all the applications gets installed but sometimes it doesnt but i do have it to continue on error.

That sounds more like an issue with the application(s) than with the client. Either put of the continue on error, or start checking the SMSTS log file to see why those applications are failing.
