Advise about architecture with slow links

Recommended Posts

Hi guys,

I have questions about SCCM 2012 SP1 architecture design.
My primary servers are in 2 Datacenters. All the role are installed twice on 2 servers in each Datacenter for security and HA.
I have 5 Remote Sites where I have to design an architecture for deploying SCCM 2012 SP1 (OSD: the master will be sent probably by letter, applis deployment, patching) there.
The links between the Remote Sites and the Datacenter are the following:
Site1 - Datacenter = 2Mbs (maybe upgraded to 4Mbs)
Site2 - Datacenter = 2Mbs (maybe upgraded to 4Mbs)
Site3 - Datacenter = 2Mbs (maybe upgraded to 4Mbs)
Site4 - Datacenter = 128Kbs (maybe upgraded to 1Mbs)
Site5 - Datacenter = 64Kbs (maybe upgraded to 1Mbs)
There are between 13 and 42 computers in these Remote Sites.
1. What are the prerequisites in terms of network to deploy a Secondary Site and a DP ?
2. Is it better to deploy a Secondary Site or a DP on the Site1, 2 and 3 ?
3. Is it recommanded to deploy a standalone infrastructure on Site4 and 5 (Primary Site ...) ?
4. Deploying SCCM on Azure for Remote Sites is not an option right ?
Thank you for your help :-)
Cheers,
